Ingredients : | |||||||||||
2 teaspoon Oil | |||||||||||
90 g thinly sliced onion | |||||||||||
250 g thinly sliced Beef Striploin | |||||||||||
1/2 teaspoon dashi powder, disolved in 125 water | |||||||||||
2 tablespoon soy sauce | |||||||||||
3 tablespoon sake | |||||||||||
1/2 tablespoon sugar | |||||||||||
4 cups freshly cooked Japanese rice | |||||||||||
2 tablespoon red pickled ginger | |||||||||||
2 eggs (optional) | |||||||||||
How To Make : | |||||||||||
1. Heat oil in Frypan over high heat and cook onion until transparent. | |||||||||||
Add beef and cook until beef stars to brown. | |||||||||||
2. Add dashi mixture, soy sauce, sake and sugar, stir to combine. | |||||||||||
Cook for 3 - 4 minutes or until beef is done and liquid stars to thicken. | |||||||||||
3. Fill four bowls with cooked rice, divide beef among bowls and spoon | |||||||||||
over little cooking liquid. Serve topped with pickled ginger and half of | |||||||||||
beaten egg poured over the top of each bowl, if desired. | |||||||||||
